Dear IEN Team
With great sadness, I announce the loss of my beloved father, Dr. Barik Schuber.
He passed away this morning, the 15th of June 2024, after a long and painful illness.
My father dedicated his life to Iraqi Economists Network and even on his last days he did not stop putting in his energy in developing the Network.
Shortly before his death he expressed his wish, for Iraqi Economics Network to be kept alive as long as possible and I sincerely hope that this can be made possible by your continued work and support.
I thank you for having assisted my father on his work for IEN and for having given him the drive to keep on living with an ambition to grow the IEN despite his poor health condition.
