The Higher Committee for Investment and Reconstruction held a meeting on Sunday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and discussed several projects, including the army channel project.
Abadi said that Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi presided over a meeting of the Higher Committee for Investment and Reconstruction, “explaining that” during the meeting, the investment of the port of Faw was discussed and the presentations and the time frames for its establishment and completion of the negotiation stages by the negotiating committee to choose one of the offers
The statement added that the committee discussed the draft of the army channel and approved the two books of the Ministry of Planning on the subject and instruct the National Investment Authority to grant an investment license to start the implementation of the project immediately, “adding that” the Committee discussed the completion of the refinery Karbala and approved the plan of the Ministry of Oil Finance
The statement pointed out that there was discussion of the implementation of a number of other projects in the field of investment and reconstruction in line with the requirements of the next phase
