Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani attended a workshop in Baghdad to boost the construction sector, which coincided with the commencement of development on new residential communities throughout Iraq.
Al-Sudani stressed that the whole nation faces a serious housing crisis and emphasized the government’s commitment about assisting private industry and resolving issues that hinder its operation through the Council of Ministers and the Ministerial Council for the Economy.
Al-Sudani further clarified that the project agreement for the city of Al-Ghazlani in Nineveh has also been signed, and in three months the construction works will begin.
According to the Prime Minister, the legal team is currently working to complete the license grant to the city of Ali Al-Wardi, which consists of 120,000 housing units.
